The purpose behind this is to have your body working at its maximum capacity for as long as possible. You get as many reps out as you can. By training to your maximum limit as long as you can, you are breaking down your muscle tissue in the most effective way.
They get a good cardio workout, but will never hone their physique the way Shaun can.
